Downpipe Cobra Sport VW Golf GTI Mk7.5 (2017+)

Improve the performance and sound of your VW Golf GTI Mk7.5 2.0 TSI 5G with this Cobra Sport downpipe, designed to replace the original front section from the turbo to the OEM mid-section.

Made from 304 stainless steel, with TIG welding and 3” / 76.2 mm piping, this downpipe offers more direct gas flow, a more aggressive response, and a sportier sound, while maintaining Cobra Sport's characteristic manufacturing quality. 

This product is designed to be fitted with the OEM cat-back and is compatible with Golf GTI Mk7.5 facelift models without GPF/OPF filter. Not compatible with later models equipped with GPF.

Homologation, ITV (vehicle inspection), and use in Spain

The Sports Cat version incorporates a sports catalytic converter and may offer better chances of passing emissions controls compared to a De-Cat version. However, by replacing an original component of the exhaust/emissions system, its use on public roads in Spain may require homologation or legalization as a modification.

The possibility of homologation will depend on the vehicle, installation, available documentation, and tests required by a laboratory or engineering firm. We recommend consulting with a homologation company before installation if the vehicle will be driven on public roads.

The De-Cat version removes the original catalytic converter and is intended exclusively for competition, track, or off-road use. It is not suitable for passing ITV or for legal driving on open roads.

After modifying or replacing the original O/E catalytic converter, the EML / Check Engine light may activate. An ECU remapping is recommended to correct this warning and stabilize power increases.
