The world-famous AEM Wideband O2 Air/Fuel Ratio UEGO Gauge features a digital LED display and a sweeping LED 'needle' that changes color as AFR changes from rich to lean. The 52mm (2-1/16") gauge housing ensures that it will fit most gauge modules and can be remote mounted virtually anywhere. All AEM digital gauges feature a 0-5V analog output for use with data loggers and almost any engine management. Each gauge comes with black and silver bezels and black and white faceplates for multiple color combinations and a custom look (a black Lambda faceplate and black and white Air/Fuel Ratio faceplates).

The Bosch UEGO sensor gives the controller its speed and accuracy. The Bosch 4.9 LSU sensor used in the AEM 30-4110 Wideband UEGO AFR Controller Gauge has a faster turn-off time and draws less current than the 4.2 LSU sensor used with the discontinued AEM 30-4100 Wideband UEGO Controller Gauge. The 4.9 LSU sensor features the same fuel compatibility as the 4.2 LSU and NEVER requires outdoor calibration when used with the AEM 30-4110 Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge. The 30-4110’s 4.9 LSU sensor uses a different connector than the one used with the 4.2 LSU sensors included with the discontinued original 30-4100 Gauge Controller. The sensors are not interchangeable between the two gauge controllers in any way, including changing connectors on the gauges.

FullGas official AEM distributor

AEM's X-Series UEGO Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Controller is based on unique, patented X-Digital technology making it the fastest responding wideband air/fuel ratio controller in independent testing against 17 other UEGO wideband air/fuel ratio controllers.

The UEGO AFR X-Series Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Controller Gauge (PN 30-0300) measures 2 1/16 inches (52 mm) in diameter and features a visually striking, modern faceplate and a new, 87% larger seven-segment center display than the AEM 30-4110 UEGO Wide Gauge center display. This creates the perception of a larger overall gauge, but in a common 52 mm size for ease of mounting. Its slim profile (less than one inch overall) and ultra-thin 0.200 inch cup depth dramatically increase its application base and potential mounting locations.

X-DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

X-Digital’s extensive digital technology gives these controllers the ability to read and report values that other controllers cannot, which can provide more optimized engine tuning and a safer overall operating condition. The controller’s high-speed digital implementation ensures no loss of signal fidelity and a full transient response, allowing it to identify the slightest fluctuations in AFR and output them at full value.

ULTRA-FAST RESPONSE!

Faster response improves wideband feedback control and can provide safer, more accurate, and more powerful measurement. AEM Wideband Controllers with X-Digital technology can reduce deadtime and improve your vehicle’s performance through more precise AFR tuning. Deadtime is the delay between the change in exhaust gas composition and when that change is reported by the O2 sensor. Although exhaust gas flow (carriage lag) can affect deadtime, it is not the only source. Often, the response of the sensing elements to gases is the largest contributor to deadtime when an engine is running at high RPMs under load.

When tuning an engine using wideband AFR feedback control on an inertial dynamometer, dead time affects the observed data because it is reported in a different operating location than where it actually occurred. This means that with long dead times, changes you make to the base fuel will likely be in the wrong location. This can be particularly dangerous for high-compression, high-turbo forced induction vehicles, and EFI systems that use feedback control for autotuning.

Reducing deadtime improves wideband feedback control and can provide safer, more accurate, and more powerful tuning. AEM Wideband Controllers with X-Series digital technology can reduce deadtime and improve your vehicle's performance through more precise AFR tuning.

FACTORY CALIBRATION RESISTOR OR OPEN AIR CALIBRATION, YOUR CHOICE!

The X-Series Wideband Meter and X-Series Inline Controller support the popular Bosch 4.9LSU sensor and can utilize both the factory resistor calibration and free-air calibration methods. This allows users to take advantage of the accurate factory resistor calibration when a sensor is new, but then allows for free-air calibrations if desired as the sensor ages. It’s the perfect marriage of simplicity and accuracy!

WHAT IS A UEGO WIDEBAND AIR/FUEL CONTROLLER?

AEM's Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen, pronounced "You-Way-Go") controllers are powerful and cost-effective measurement tools that allow users to accurately monitor their engine's air/fuel ratio (AFR).

WHY USE A WIDEBAND AIR/FUEL CONTROLLER?

Accurate AFR data is critical when tuning an engine. A rich mixture (air/fuel ratio too low, excessive fuel) can cause a loss of power, while an overly lean mixture (air/fuel ratio too high, not enough fuel) can result in serious engine damage. Using a wideband air/fuel controller during the tuning process allows you to monitor the AFR ratio and adjust tuning parameters to optimize them for maximum power and efficiency. AEM has a full line of highly accurate and reliable wideband air/fuel controllers that can help ensure your vehicle is optimally tuned.

CAN I CHANGE THE AEM SENSOR CONNECTOR?

No. There is a laser-calibrated resistor in the sensor connector body. This resistor is specifically designed for the specific sensor it's attached to. Modifying this resistor would invalidate the sensor's output.
