Tein Flex Z Coilover Suspension Subaru Impreza GC / GF (92-00)

A direct evolution of the previous Flex Street, the new Flex Z range has been developed to combine comfort and performance for sporty drivers. To provide the best prices, Tein engineers have completely redesigned the Japanese production plant and manufacturing processes (see video below). As a result, this offers the best price-performance ratio ever offered by Tein.

Thanks to its twin-tube oil and gas design, the Flex Z offers excellent comfort at low speeds on rough roads, while providing exceptional performance and precision in fast-paced riding, both on the road and on the track. Ride height and spring preload can be adjusted separately, providing full shock absorption at any height. A new oil formulation was used for the Flex Z, providing stable performance at all temperatures.

The damping can be adjusted in 16 stages. Tein Flex is compatible with Tein EDFC (available separately), allowing for electronic damper stiffness adjustment from inside the car. With EDFC, the adjustment level increases to 32 stages (standard EDF) and 64 stages (EDFC Active).

These coilovers come with aluminum upper mounts, allowing for adjustable camber on the McPherson strut front suspension. Using Japanese manufacturing, Tein products enjoy a long lifespan and protection against corrosion, dust, and temperature changes. They also come with a one-year warranty.

The Tein Flex Z uses a factory-sealed shock absorber. Replacements are only possible using a complete shock absorber unit, which is inexpensive and quick to replace.
The Tein Flex A, however, uses a fully rebuildable shock absorber. Tein offers a rebuild/re-axle service.
Tein Flex Z and Flex A have a 1 year warranty.
